Gender is an inherent part of sexuality, which my works centers on. In order to fully understand and experience our sexuality, we must also investigate and explore our gender, whether we are cis, gender expansive or trans. An inherent part of this investigation is looking at how individual experiences intersect with collective experiences, power structures and policies, and how both the individual and collective impact our lived realities.

Sexuality expands far beyond our sexual orientation. To understand our full sexuality, is to fully understand our own humanness. My work allows people to expand and explore their sexual identities and attraction, and to investigate the many aspects of sexuality that are shamed, denigrated or unseen. Sexuality justice must include all of it. There are four pillars in my work that are essential to full sexual liberation: sexuality, spirituality, creativity and social justice. We look at the intersections of each of these pillars. To work on our own sexual empowerment is to also look at collective sexual liberation. This is the deep work which will forever change us and improve our world.

I have been working to address racial justice in medicine specifically through organizing and as a filmmaker. It is imperative that we center a racial justice lens in all reproductive and sexuality work/movements, and that I show up to this work consistently as a white person.
Disability justice is an emerging area of knowledge and skill which is important to me.
